Area51 IPTV Update

Changes to the Area51 IPTV Service

Area51 IPTV has recently updated their pricing. This is not coming as a surprise since they have always been one of the cheapest IPTV service providers. They are adding new content so I expected a slight increase in their subscription fees. So what’s changed? A slight increase of only $2 more a month. This still keeps Area51 IPTV service in the running for the cheapest IPTV service around. You can now order or renew Area51 at the following prices:

  • $7 for 1 month
  • $21 for 3 months
  • $42 for 6 months
  • $84 for 12 months

As of writing this post, the Area51 website is down. This is a scheduled downtime for the website and it should become available within the next day or two. While the site is down users will not be able to order subscriptions or access the client area of the website. This does affect users who might be experiencing issues as they cannot put in a support ticket if needed. While the website is down if you are having trouble you should contact Area51 via their Discord Server.

Issue loading PPV events?

Many users reached out to us regarding the UFC 232 PPV Event. Users were stating that they could not access or see the UFC PPV event on the Area51 IPTV app. Although we are not affiliated with Area51 IPTV service in any way we do want to give you some tips for fixing common issues. As you probably already know each time you load the Area51 app it automatically installs and updates the TV Guide and Channels.

Users who were already watching Area51 prior to the PPV event ran into an issue where the PPV event was not showing up. This is due to an issue with an outdated TV Guide and Channel lineup. PPV events on the Area51 app become active at the scheduled time of the PPV. So how can you fix an issue with channels not showing up or missing PPV events? To fix this issue you need to rescan your channels and update the IPTV guide. This can all be done right from the Area51 IPTV app. After clicking on Live TV within the app you can then click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner. This will bring up a menu. From that menu click on Refresh Channels and Refresh TV Guide. This should resolve all issues with PPV events now showing up. Again, make sure you run the refresh once the event is live.

If any more changes come to Area51 IPTV Service we will be making another post. As always if you have any questions feel free to leave us a comment or contact us.
