Amazon Prime Day has officially been postponed until a later date. So far there has not been any news as to when the new Prime Day will take place. For cord-cutters, this is concerning.
Normally, during Amazon Prime Day cord-cutters are able to get access to huge savings on some of the most popular streaming devices. Last year Amazon was selling the Firestick 4k for only $25, while the Fire TV Cube was only $70.
These types of savings are hard to come by. Normally in July Amazon customers are able to take advantage of the deals provided by Amazon during Prime Day. This year as with most everything else, COVID-19 is the cause for this event not taking place during its scheduled time.
See the statement below from Amazon regarding this situation:
In light of COVID-19 and its impact on communities around the world, we have decided to hold Prime Day later than usual this year. We are proud of our associates and all teams worldwide who continue to safely serve our customers and deliver the products they need and want directly to their doorstep.
Current Amazon deals for streaming devices
Currently, there are several deals cord-cutters can take advantage of right now that’s not being affected by the Amazon Prime Day postponement.
Right now you can get extra savings on the Amazon Firestick 4k. This item is on backorder at the moment however they are expected to be back in stock on August 5th. Another great deal is for the Amazon Fire TV Cube. Both of these deals are worth checking out.
Although these deals are not as good as those offered during Amazon Prime Day they are still worth checking out. We have seen great success with the Amazon Fire TV Cube. This device is capable of handling all of your streaming needs and more!
As soon as we know more regarding the Amazon Prime Day postponement and when the new event will take place we will be sure to let you know.
